Google Chrome for Mac… now with Bookmark Manager

Google Chrome has officially become my number one browser of choice over FireFox for Mac.

I’ve just installed the latest dev version which has now been upgraded with a bookmark manager.. a feature that launched with the PC version but something that Mac users have been desperately waiting for (no more importing from FF and Safari!) I presume it will find it’s way into the next Beta version (not sure of release date).

The only thing I’m still kind of missing is Firebug… IMO one of the best browser based developer tools ever created. However Google Chrome does come with a generous suite of developer tools including a built in “Element Inspector” (right click and select Inspect Element) which I’m still getting used to. But so far it’s doing a pretty nice job. Not quite as easy for non-techies as Firebug but way better than nothing.
